IT STARTED OUT WITH HER BUILDING A MYSTERY.
I HAD TO HAVE THAT CD SO OFF TO THE STORE I RAN.
NOT SURE THERE IS ANYONE THAT SINGS LIKE SHE CAN.
OH, SHE GIVES ME GOOSE BUMPS WITH THE NOTES SHE HITS.
WHEN I HEAR ANGEL I JUST WANT TO CRY.
WOW, WHAT A PUNCH THAT SONG PACKS WITH ME.
IT HITS EACH AND EVERY NERVE DEEP INSIDE YOU SEE.
THAT SONG HAS REALLY BEEN A COMFORT AT TIMES.
THEY PLAYED HER SONG I WILL REMEMBER YOU
WHEN MICK FOLEY RETIRED FROM THE WWF WRESTLING SHOW.
THE VIDEO ALONG WITH THE MUSIC WAS JUST TOO MUCH YOU KNOW.
I HAD TO SHED A TEAR AS I AM SURE MANY DID.
I CAN'T HELP BUT LOOK BACK WHEN LISTENING TO ADIA.
THE LOVES IN MY PAST, WHAT IT WAS THAT MADE THEM GO SOUTH.
WAS IT HIS TEMPER? NO, MAYBE MORE LIKE MY MOUTH.
NO MATTER THINGS HAPPEN FOR A REASON THAT IS THE WAY IT IS.
IF YOU WANT TO HEAR MAGIC PLAY I LOVE YOU.
THE SOUND MAKES ME THINK OF TIMES PAST.
TIMES WHEN THINGS WERE MADE TO LAST.
LET ME BE THE CALM YOU SEEK, OH NOW THAT IS A GREAT LINE.
IF YOU HAVE NEVER HEARD HER, MY FRIEND I TELL YOU
YOU ARE REALLY MISSING OUT ON THIS WONDERFUL TREAT.
NEVER WILL YOU HEAR SUCH GREAT PIANO OR VOICE SO SWEET.
IF I COULD ONLY SHARE THESE SOUNDS WITH YOU.
I agree with you. Sarah has a beautful voice and a magnificent range. I have a friend who sings with such grace as Sarah... you may enjoy listening to here. i have one of her tapes called "These Words" by Angela Aki. Angela leans more toward spiritual songs, all of which has been written by her or her husband. You may just enjoy it too. Linda
Hi Renee Another great tribute to one so derseving. Yes.. SArah is way cool... talent overwhelms me sometimes. Thanks for sharing. Roz
Renee' Sarah rocks! I love her music...some so soulful and moving. Her voice is that of an angel..I have all of hers...Mirrorball is my favorite because it is live. It is so cool, she is married to her drummer who's name is Soot. She is a wonderful inspiration and writes and plays beautiful music~
Another wonderful tribute, for an incredible artist and performer, by a most magnificent woman, and a great poetess.... Loved this little jewel!!
Renee, Sarah is a big favorite around here with both Andy and me. We were watching the Sheryl Crow and Friends special on VH1 and Sarah came out to sing Sheryl's song "The Difficult King" with the hostess; I swear Andy must've creamed in his jeans! :) He kept saying, "That's all I want is those two ladies standing at the foot of my bed singing to me." LOL Anyway, Sarah's music is great for when we want to get mushy. If "Surfacing" is the only Sarah CD you've got may I suggest "Fumbling Towards Ecstasy" and "Mirrorball", which is all live stuff but she stays pretty close to the studio versions. I think you'd enjoy them.
WELL i guess i'll throw a few hints to my family for SARAH M. does she have more than one,i remember LILLITH concerts but if you like it ! sounds good
