Oh my little friend
your beauty so fragile
rules to follow to make you grow
sometimes the process takes awhile.
I love to get the ones
that are knocking on the door of death
bring them back to life making them healty again
talk to you with the healing touch and lifes breath.
Leaves soft and fuzzy to the touch
flowers of vibrant colors, petals made of gossamer
your beauty takes my breath, you responsed so well
I really like all the blooms, purple would be the one I prefer.
What a wonderful experience to take a simple leaf,
stick that in the right soil and in just a few weeks
a small baby leaf sticks up through the soil
just another baby violet treat it with care for it is weak.
I have many of these little babies sitting around me
just one of the things I find much comfort in
my thumb is green when it comes to them it seems
what a kick it would be, to grow one for a contest and win.
