There was a tiny seed planted.
With hopes one day it will be a big tree.
A tree like one of those hundred year old oaks,
the ones that grow on the southern plantations.
As this tiny seedling grew, late in November
a horrible ice storm hits, freezing everything.
The little seedling's growth was stunted.
It never was quite the same after that.
Only reaching half of it's potential
but never losing the awesome beauty and grace of it's ancestors.
It was just one of nature's victim.
