A DREAM SO REAL

A voice spoke to me from out of the blue.

Asked me if I would like to take a ride.

Not knowing where to go or what to do.

I knew that there was nowhere to hide.

I took this voice up on the chance

That this might be from the past.

I floated along and with a glance

I have to say it was something of a blast.

I was taken to a very large room.

There were many people that had died.

It was a party and there was no gloom.

When I had to leave I sat and cried.

In this place I met stars like Marilyn Monroe.

President Kennedy was there which was a pleasure.

It was an experience that I am glad I didn't blow.

This is something that I can always hold as a treasure.

Jackie O. was as beautiful as she was ever.

Frank Sinatra had those killer blue eyes.

This was something that I will forget never.

When it was over we said our good-byes.

I was taken back to where this all began.

When I woke up I was filled with a real thrill.

If I had it to do over, I would surly do it again.

I can tell you, it was a dream so real.
