Slow comes the sun

O’er the hills

Splashing warmth upon the ground.

With the morning

Comes thoughts of you,

My heart beats with a steady sound.

Rise with the daylight,

Fall with the moon,

Sink into darkness

I’ll be with you soon.

Daytime’s peak

Daylight fall

Beneath the horizon

Beneath my love.

Moon now rise,

Glis’ning eyes,

Darkness shine

She falls into my arms,

Pray that she’ll be mine.

Not quite knowing,

Not quite feeling

What it is she feels for me.

Soon I go

Into the shadows

Provided by the dark.

My closest friend

Most distant enemy,

The shadows are always there.

I see her now,

A beam of light

Shining through her waving hair.

Eyes stare back,

Mine don’t catch

Her beautiful vision

For vision I lack.

Smiling beauty

Smile for me now,

I’ll feel that which I cannot know.

Within the clouds

Dances an angel

Above the sky

Within the moons halo.

Wings I need

To reach her now

Those which I do not possess.

Blackened feathers

Branch from my back

Spread into wings of the night,

Vampiric fury

Fills my veins,

For I cannot be within her sight.

Amongst the crowds

I silently walk,

And stalk amongst the blood.

All to find the one

Whom I must become one with

So I may be with you,

And walk amongst the sun.

Killing many

Finding none,

Drinking life.

I remain secluded

In my shadowous home,

My heart still deluded,

My heart still alone.

Ill wander the shadows

And wander the night

And love you forever.

Eternity comes my way.

I cannot be near you,

Nor walk beside you

For you live in the light of the day.

Eternity settles,

Ill follow at a distance,

And love you forever,

Forever and a day.
