Fireflies dancing, glowing in the night,
With the moon, being the only light.
Crickets playing a soothing tune
Shadows, dancing by the light of the moon.
A slight breeze blows in the air
Nature’s sounds looming everywhere.
Frogs singing down by the pond,
Next to the sleeping swans.
stars brighten the dark sky
Off in the distance a wolf cries.
Slight scent of fresh cut hay
Another end to a wonderful day.
In comfortable silence we sit and swing
Listening to the sounds, the night brings
I lay my head on your shoulder to rest
Your fingers on my hand, a gentle caress.
Comfortable silence fills the night air
As we quietly dream away our cares.
