I look for answers in your words
but none are there to be heard

the answers i need are in your heart
and the truth tears me apart

for so long i hung on to a dream
but the dream is lost it seems

now i look beyond my heart and soul
and I believe i can now let go

I will think of you with a sweet smile
it was so very good for a short while

I wish you only the very best
and for your weary heart a place to rest

so go now and dont look back with regret
