Segregated by superiority
By those who reign more identity
Forced to be shunned in a group
And to that level you gotta stoop
Even if you are yourself
Your placed upon some common shelf
Eventually you take the place
Start to grow a different face
Cause high school is just one big game
About who really has the name
Be it by looks
Or be it by brains
Everyone looses
And everyone gains
Preps gotta live
The glamorous life
Goths gotta be
The ones with strife
Jocks gotta live
To the reputation
Student Council gotta deal
With school stagflation
Brainiacs get the grades
The once best friend fades
Artists are recluse
Racism adds abuse
The hard-knock kids strive
To keep grades and rep. alive
The tough person entourage
For some fabricated collage
Accused for the smallest difference
Despite past remembrance
You may have the cool
Back in elementary school
Then come high school scene
You just may be obscene
Still finding yourself
In junior high
But derive from that
You’re a different guy
Poser is the label
Being unique you’re denied
Picked for your worst flaws
And brought forth worldwide
Crying out loud
Wanting out of cliqued crowd
Whirlwinds of mistrust
Emotions full of disgust
In people’s thoughtless hate
As they choose to desecrate
Each other in no right
Just to see a simple fight
Just trying to get through
So we may move onto
Just trying to get through
Move on and react
And move onto
A world that we impact
Going to school
To learn some stuff
But instead we take in
Things that make us “tough”
All this we deal with
And so little we are denied
As children of the future
Now education we are deprived
