Under better circumstances

Than our first greeting



A warm embrace

A cordial smile

A trip to this building

Walked practically a mile



After a rendezvous

Of drawing here

I sit next to him

A slight amount of fear



For the day must end

And I must part

Him in Pearland

Along with my heart
