poem_087_To_Glue_or_Not_to_Glue

To glue or not to glue

That is the question…

Not the kind that has strong vapor.

It’s sticky, white, and wet.

Elmer’s is the kind for paper.

But this is not the best… not yet!

I need the kind that’s strong at touch!

Not the kind that need caps and dries quick.

No, not the kind of this such.

Those glue sticks just make me sick!

I’m not working with wood,

So yellow glue won’t help.

Hot melt maybe could.

But the heat would make me yelp!

The perfect glue for me to use,

To makes these things stick,

That will immediately begin to fuse,

The objects will do the trick!

So here’s the one that’s the perfect glue!

The fast drying, quick applying, strong bond, adhere!

The only glue that places together two and two!

THE SUPER NAIL GLUE THAT DRIES UP CLEAR!

Now we place a few drops onto the left object.

Then push the two together for a finished piece of art.

YAY now I have the finished project!

Now my hands will never be apart…

To glue or not to glue!

That is the question!

Whether it is not or true,

A good judgment of discretion!

Author's Notes/Comments:

This was actually made for my boyfriend (at the time) because I was constantly gluing my hands together and it sort of made him upset because I was in pain while doing it. SO I made this poem for him as a joke :P
