Instant thoughts It's so funny how much the weather changes us
Everything smells, looks, feels and just seems different
The nice weather is great when the wind is just right and you can put your arm out the window to take in the wonderful feeling that the nice breeze brings upon you
You drive down an Ave. and see a bunch of people hanging around their cars, honking, whistling and talking
The energetic people who care about their bodies, jogging down roads at all different times from sunrise to sunset.
All the kids running and screaming, but mostly out of joy because they can finally, after a long winter, play outside again. Then you always have the old guy, smoking a cigarette, driving around in the lovely, trustworthy ICE CREAM TRUCK trying to intice your kids to beg for your last buck for some pink thing on a stick with hard gum ball eyes.
The nice nights where you can take a walk and enjoy it
with the windows open and the nice cool air that comes through your room and leaves that perfect sleep feeling
Over the sweat and heat, the sunburns and bugs, the weather is still much better this way. Much better because everything and everyone for at least a couple months seems happy again.
interesting perspective on the weather, its funny how often most people take all of these things for granted. its always nice to be able to have your window down and just drive without chattering your teeth at the same time. spring and summer are definitely great times of the year... if i do say so myself... and i do.
