Every Sunday at 1 pm, that’s the time when the 28 members of the Lozano’s family start arriving to my grandparent’s house. Obviously we have the persons that don’t arrive at that time, but at 1 o’clock most of us are sitting down having some snacks and talking about anything. But above all, I would like to talk about a person, who always receives us with a joke, and this creates an incredibly happy environment. I have the honor to always sit besides him in the table and you couldn’t imagine how observant he is, if someone spits accidentally he will laugh at you, if you’re eating funny, or even if you say something wrong, he always have something to say. Me being in his right arm, always laughing of the things he says, tend to be very discrete in every movement I do. Sometime even when the time is not right and you just need to be shut; he has the tendency to always say something, even if my grandma is the one who is talking. One time I remember a specific event when we went all the 28 to a cruise to the Caribbean Islands, my uncle entered the stomach diving contest. My grandpa was very exited, I don’t know if it was for seeing him, or for what he was going to say after the diving contest finished, I remember I just could see his smiling face looking at my uncle. So the contest passed, my uncle sucked at the contest, and my grandpa didn’t said a word. We even had a little discussion with my cousins because we couldn’t believe it. So the day passed and it was time for the dinner and we always met at my grandparent’s room to go all together, and we were in there just waiting for all to get there, and when we were all ready my grandpa turned on the TV, it was the video of my uncle failing at the contest, he told us he asked a worker to do that for him and even edited with slow motion, we were all just laughing at a bad dive but what make the situation funnier was my grandpa just laughing at his son. This is just one of the many things this man has done and if you ask me I think I would never finish telling them, he is one of the finest man I have ever known.
