When I came to, and thought it out

I realized, that we could never be.

No matter how much I wish it true

there's no future for me and you.



You love another, and that's fine

I keep my distance like I always have.

Loving you from afar, out of sight

but I guess that's fine, it's alright.



I try not to cope with the pain

I try not to let it win the victory.

But, everything I once knew

It all fails, it all falls through.



I'm not enough to make you happy

not enough to make you proud.

Never am I gonna be seen in your eyes

but my love is true, that no one denies.



When I realized that fact was ficton

life became more of a reality to me.

Nothing's the same anymore

yet, my feelings for you I have to ignore.



So, I take the time to write them out

in hopes that you'll get that message.

That I long for you to know about

still, I live with that no feeling doubt...
