He was just but seventeen
And forced to say goodbye
Standing in the back of the room
He paused to take a deep breath in
Never did he really think that death
Enter his life yet again.
As the tears trickled down his cheeks
And his body soon became numb
Through his mind ran the memories
Times of joy and of sorrow
Him and her together as one
Now, it's only him, come tomorrow.
Slowly, yet swiftly to the front he walked
His hands cupper behind his back
Through his tears he looked at her
Death had taken it's final pick
By sacrificing this ones innocence
With mere disgust and feeling sick.
Bending down he grasped her hand
And brought it to his cold pale face
With one small kiss upon her skin
He slipped off her engagment ring
She doesn't need it anymore
For now she has her own pair of wings.
All who where there sitting in the rows
Watched in silence and in tears
Through the blank look of her cold eyes
He tried to remember the girl he knew
But in his heart he just couldn't
The peircing pain just only grew.
Once more he brought his head to hers
And whispered "I love you"
He gently touched her porcelain face
And again he started to cry
He put her ring on his finger
Then and there he decided to die.
A few last word were said in awe
As her casket began to lower
Everyone still remained quiet
Into the ground she did go
One by one they started to leave
As the wind began to blow...
