Mr. Bear woke up on a sunny, normal day to start off his daily routine. Mr. Bear is no ordinary animal, he lives in the countryside while everyone else lives in the great city. He lives alone, due to the fact that Mr. Bear thinks he needs nobody’s help. He is always saying to himself, “I am strong and independent, why should I need the help from someone weak?”
Mr. Bear was happy, but all of a sudden, everything changed once he felt sick. Mr. Bear didn’t know what was going on. He tried all the home remedies he could think of but none of them worked. So, knowing that there was no other option left, he went to the great city.
When Mr. Bear arrived at the great city, he found nothing and no one. “What happened?” he thought. He was walking alone in the boulevard until he spotted something.
“Hello, who are you?’”
“Uh, hi, I’m Mr. Raccoon”
“What happened?”
“We are all asking the same question, all I know is that animals started to disappear, we are trying to survive, so come with me if you want to live”
While they were walking, Mr. Bear said: “I came here to get some medicines, I feel pretty bad, I have a heart condition so I am in need of some heart medication”
“I know a place where we can get them”
Mr. Bear follows Mr. Raccoon through an underground tunnel and into a cave-like room.
Mr. Bear sat down while Mr. Raccoon left for supplies, he feels a stare and turns.
“Hi, my name is Mr. Bear. You are?”
“Mrs. Lamb”
Mr. Bear hears Mr. Raccoon coming.
“I got your medicines”
“Oh, thanks”
“This will help”
Mr. Bear swallows his pills with the help of Mr. Raccoon. They all fall asleep and Mr. Bear realizes that Mrs. Lamb was not there the day before.
By the situations that were happening, they decided to run to countryside. They both seemed scared. Mr. Bear could see how weird the situation was but he didn’t notice Mr.
Raccoon’s reaction to be similar as his. Mr. Raccoon seemed calmer and normal. Mr. Bear started to lose trust. He started to plan something against him.
The next day, Mr. Bear knew that they both were the last people standing alive on earth. He knew that one of them needed to disappear. And he was ready to make his attack against Mr. Raccoon so that the one disappearing was him.
A few minutes later, without Mr. Bear noticing, Mr. Raccoon was gone. He started to look for him and found him outside. Mr. Bear looked out from the window and found Mr. Raccoon discussing with a monster.
“Take me. Don’t take my friend, he has a heart condition.”
Mr. Bear realized how bad he had done for mistrusting him. Mr. Raccoon was the only person who had ever helped him in his life when he needed it most. Mr. Bear was waiting the next day to be taken away by the monster, he wanted to have friends now. But no one came. Mr. Bear was alone in the world. Thinking about the horrible mistake he had done of never wanting to have had friends and mistrusting the only one he had.
