He can Deplete my perogotive to live
He can repudiate my future abbillities to feel benevolent
in the successes of life
He can abolish my opportunities to triumph upon an education
that without depression id flourish upon
He shall demolish the ingrediants which conjure the formula toward retaining my soul
He shall embark upon an epic campaign
to cripple the structures of my once joyful foundations
and humble my heart to the defect of lonliness
HE may defeat me upon every battleground that we may intersect upon
never allowing me to explore the slightest bliss of victory
Yet still, there is a "still" that lingers within the abyss of these once lonely places for ink
and enlists the boundaries of restitution,
restoring hope in the deprived natures of happiness in my life.
Therefore still,
he can never consume
the passion,
the thirst,
and the desire i feel for her
This love is more powerful than the colossus that seems to abduct the sun
creating the illusion of shadow
initiating the false conceptions of complete and total...
darkness
Or the single man whom controls the migration of life into
the constant pits of death
This is not the norm
this love is divine
Against my will i am strung dangaling, held over the far depth of the deep black
searching but never finding
fighting but never winning
She has become one with me yet,
i am on my own.
left to resume a life im not certain how to live
So i will fight his darkness
embark upon an epic journey
travel endless terrain,
suffer through the most horrific pain
of a man who has been stripped of humans default custom...
Happiness
A pursuit in which
i am still chasing...
Relatable
I can relate well with this story of a poem. It really is good. I'd like to see more of your work that isn't in prose. I think the poem is too long though. It would be a much more satisfying read if you could shorten it, and make it more meaningful. Thank you!
