I saw her face walking through the crowd, still full of beauty, loving and proud.
Smiling in such a happy way, what brings her joy what makes her so gay?
could it be memories of the light, could it be me in her sight,
my heart beats faster. she nears the shadows i hide in with songs of laughter.
Dare I step into sight, bring myself into the light can my hope once more take flight?
She moves past me with the grace of a lady and all the angels of heaven cannot save me,
her hand in his hand confirms what i cannot understand,
why my dreams are but a grain of sand,
in a wind that blows away, I feel nothing now not even dismay.
She is happy now and for that I feel no pain, tears are hidden by the cold spring rain.

I guess words don't resolve anything.... but at least I can dream.
