A moonsoon rain
this early Saturday morning;
Dripping loud in the gutter
more like of a bell's ring,
As it quietly flowed down the drain.
Lightnings coloured the sky
in the darkness of the night,
As the roaring thunder drove
the clouds into its oblivious sight.
Scaring away our faith to stand strong
in the adversity of life,
Like the sweltering and discomfiting
heat of summertime.
