raging tongues one savage day
devouring all clothes away.
the crackling sound of cracking ground
leaving traces of ashes in a tray.
properties done; memories gone
of life full of fun; all in a raging tongue,
savagely licking the place away.
heatwaves of temper rose
to its blazing height arouse;
like adrenalin rushing through the veins,
hard to control; to extinguish is vain.
smoke clouds impeded visions
choking breath to death of treason
firemen sirens and whistle tops
buckets of sand and rain sent non-stop.
bushes, shrubs and trees fell.
now the place is dead and bare.
