So crisp and clear
now with perfect creation
and as the week wears on
colors start to fade
the water not so crystal clear
more just a reminder you're here
not to say I love you
just to admit I messed up
sorry only ends with wilted promises
the water is gone all hope
has fallen on the ground
so pointless, just an attempt
to keep them alive for a few moments of glory
but thye won't last forever
and i'm sorry can only fix so much
and only for so long
and in the end you can't just add water
to keep it alive
and drying only keeps the memory around
it can never be as good as when its new
