The Peed-On
Why should we expect Anything?
If Everything comes from Nothing
then Something
is something
we should avoid.
I mean that Something
that meandered into our lives
as a Fun thing
was no more than a decoy
to the crumbling
of it all.
We felt like doubters at first
but some hours later
we could smell the stench
of the trough we all feed on,
unaware
it’s the same one we bleed on.
Come
to the realization
that even the peed-on
feel warm for a moment
before they whiff the deception…
