I don't know much about

Love.

But I've managed a thing or two

About music.

So I'll liken you

To the melody air streams

That flow into your ears

And catch you in stride.

           smoothly.



Somehow,

The song

Just comes along -

I catch myself humming

In the car

           unknowingly.



I remember the first time

I heard it.

Tapping on my steering wheel --

bars escaped my lips

           inexplicably.



Mesmerized lips

Trembled in psychic shock

At what they had just

Foretold...

As nothing could match the gold

In the timeless harmonies

Layered with your heartbeat..

    "Crescendo purity,

    Stray not far from me."



These notes, I enrichened

With my vision

And whispered back into the wind

For you...



And you can sing it always

Magically aware

Of the following chant

That forever you will remain

The night sky

Contained within refrains

Of my cries...

And now

We will dance...
