I was a fractured past,
a fault line through the basic.
The earth shivered at such a cold inclusion.

 

An erosion of the everyday,
pepper in the wounds of a cliché,
the marriage of incompatible parts.

 

The collision of illusion and action,
a lucid dreamer basking in definition
