I never dreamt I would find someone,

More importantly that I would find the one

To my surprise, you walked into my life

In the most unsuspecting time

Day one I never imagined we would be here today

Our lives were walking down their own paths,

but here we stand heart in heart, hand in hand

You are not what I expected to find,

but despite that I fell in love

and I would not trade it for anything

Our love is one that most search all their lives but never find

Some walk right by, and some lose their chance

I am so glad we did not miss ours

A day does not go by that I don't wonder what it would be like had we not met,

but I am so happy we did
