You say you want me there by your side

So when the time gets closer, why do you run and hide

It makes me feel like I mean nothing to you at the time

Like I have done something wrong and crossed every red line

I just want to be back in your arms again,

and feel the way I felt back when

Feeling your warmth, brings me comfort

Tonight I am missing it more than you could imagine

When I lay awake and alone,

It makes me feel like a stranger in my home

So tell me where I stand

Will you ever take me in your arms, gently hold my hand

Or is this where we grow apart,

and go our separate ways
