I can still feel your hand in mine,

Even after all this time,

As if you were still holding it,

and never letting go

I hear your voice in the back of my head

Telling me you are sorry,

and that you don't want to hurt me

But of our future you are not sure

Vividly I can see your arms wrapped around me,

Keeping me safe and warm,

But when I open my eyes,

The memory slips away

Distance is only temporary,

But it hurts so bad

I want us to be together,

and the waiting just makes me mad

I miss you,

So completely

and I want to run into your arms,

and never let go,

No not ever again

I know I can't be with you tonight,

but I will think of you

and hope that we'll be together again soon
