That night when her world crashed
She tries to move forward,
But all she can see is when it all fell down
The rain poured,
And her heart beat fast
She started running
When the shadows were cast
Not looking for traffic
Not hearing the cars speeding by
She doesn’t care anymore
Feels no need to try
The rain was pouring,
And her heart was beating fast
She kept running
Not slowing down
Then the tears came
She knew she was all alone
What is the point in stopping?
Nowhere was home
The rain was still pouring
She did not make a sound
She kept running
Hoping to not be found
