I don’t want to write just another clichéd rhyme
Something perfect so the ending matches with the last written line
I want to write something that has meaning,
Rather than something that follows a rhyming scheme
If I get lucky every line will match,
However that is not the catch
Some days I’ll pick the perfect scene
Rhyme every two, every four, or sixteen
Then there are some poems, that won’t match at all
And there are those that think because of that I should take my last curtain call
However, I will keep writing, because it is how I cope
And one day my success will be my words leaving somebody out there a little bit of hope
