I've had enough of love songs

The ones that make you cry

Whether or not you're in love

Your eyes still are not dry



I've had enough of love stories,

It seems to me love is only a fairytale

The girl never gets the prince of her choosing

and the guy tries to win the girl he loves, but he ends up losing



I've had enough of seeing couples walking hand in hand

When just recently, my one and only broke my heart

Let it shatter where I stand

It makes me sick seeing them together, when I am torn apart



I've had enough of hearing all those cliched lines

Just wait and see, tomorrow is another day

but it is different when your heart is broken,

You don't think you'll be okay



I've had enough of love songs

Those you hear that make you cry

Especially when your heart is broken

Tears fall from your eyes
