You could have loved me if you just tried
For our love I would have died
If I were different would you have stuck around?
Would you have stayed by my side if we found some common ground?
For every mistake there is a price to pay
and I still pay for losing you everyday
If I were different maybe we would be together
Instead of waiting for the even of never
I still am lying to myself, saying that you will come around again
Maybe you would if I were someone else
If I were different maybe you would have chosen to stay
Maybe if I were different things would have gone our way
