Watch the world from behind closed doors

Say that you don't care anymore

You know that you won't miss the sun

because it reminds you of the times when you were the one

and it kills you inside,

you are torn so bad

a never ending pain

that leaves you so sad

Wished you had the courage to step beyond these four walls

But inside you are just waiting for the final curtain to fall

When it is just too hard to let anyone in becuase you forgot how

Even though it is not that hard you don't want to try now

Colors fade and everything now is white, black and grey

Every hope of better has chosen to stray

Blinds are closed and so is your heart

No one can tear down your guard,

So they don't even try to start

Bitterly frozen inside

and the tears won't subside

You don't miss life beyond this home

All you know is being alone

because nothing matters anymore
