We lived our love,

never knowing it was wrong

We continued the charade

Never thinking the spark would eventually be gone



and I thought I would die without you

The pain inside would never undo

Such a server tear inside my heart

Without you there felt no reason to even start



But now where I stand today

I can feel the feeling inside of me

For once I am okay without you

I have been freed from your chains and I am finally free



We never wanted to let go of each other

but knew it was for the best

We still loved one another

But we had to give a chance for the rest



And there are days that I still miss you

But I still can make it through alright

You will never know what you put me through

But for onace I am able to fall asleep at night
