Like it was just yesterday,

I can still see clearly,

The last moments we spent together

In those days we thought we’d last forever

So what happened to all of that

Is it just gone like it was nothing

Or can we fix things, and get it back

If that is an option,

I want to try

I don’t want to go on without you

Please don’t ever say goodbye

Oh, how I want to kiss those lips again

So soft and sweet

I’ll always remember

Our August fling

And hope that one day we can be a forever thing
