I’ll wait for you, as long as I can

However, let me tell you,

I can’t wait forever

So please don’t make me.

Don’t ask me to marry you,

Just because you know I will say yes,

Ask me because I am the one,

You want to spend forever with

I don’t want to be your safety net,

Though I gladly will

I want to be the one you want

The one you need,

The one you cherish

Someone you’d shoot the moon,

And put out the sun for

Because I would do that for you

I want to be your priority,

Not just another option
