When I thought I had lost you forever

A part of me burst at the seams

I thought we could always be together,

And going a day without you was one of my bad dreams



So us getting another chance is all I ask for

This time I will try harder for us to last

I know we have said it all before,

But I never want you to be just a part of my past



In the end, I want to be standing with you

You are the one I want by my side

Sure, we may be in for a hard and rocky journey

But with you there, I know I can survive



Let’s make a pact,

That we will try to work this out

We don’t have to promise forever yet,

But let’s promise to give us a try
