I was always afraid

Scared that you would leave

I feared this would one day be over

I just could not let go of that and believe



But you tell me this love is forever

and to not think you would be leaving

because you would leave me never

It took a long time for me to start believing



Never could I imagine someone caring for me so much

Or that I would only long for their touch

But baby now I do

I believe in me and you



You took my tears and turn them into smiles

You took away my pain all the while

Now I finally understand and believe

That you will stand by me and never leave



and It took me forever

But I finally believe

I hope you can too

Because, I will never leave
