Heres a cheer to waking up lonely

Heres a cheer to all the tears to be cried

Heres a cheer to the pain I feel

Saying that because of this all, a part of me has died



Heres a cheer to happily ever after never coming true

Heres a cheer to goodbye for me and you

Heres a cheer to the end finally coming

Heres a cheer to my soul that is continually numbing



Heres a cheer to my heart that will never mend

Heres a cheer to not knowing how much more I can bend

Heres a cheer to knowing that I must go on,

I must fight back these tears and be strong



Heres a cheer to the pain,

wishing things would be different, that things could turn around

Heres a cheer to the never ending silence, the deadly sounds

Heres a cheer to being lost as a stranger wishing to be found



Heres a cheer to shadows, nightmares and fears

Heres a cheer to many sad and lonesome years

Heres a cheer to always waking up alone

Somewhere that will never feel like home



So lets raise a glass and give a toast

To the ones who feel pain the most
