January 2007 Broken shadows on the wall
In the distance death faintly calls
Heart beating faster as I wait for the fall
Trying to get out of my head the misery of this all
Looking in the mirror, the image staring back at me is scary
Such a deadly looking thing
A face so cold and pale
She feels so miserable, so unwell
Forhead wet and she is so sick to her stomach
Tears fall freely from her eyes
Her feelings get crushed as her confidence plummets
Sitting back watching it all die
Feeling like she is falling, tumbling down
She starts to scream but no one can hear a sound
Her mind is clouded, she is so confused
She hits herself, so she will know the pain later when she is bruised
Crying over and over, its always the same old story
Just about enough she has had she wants some glory
The tears just arent enough to save her, so she'll make herself bleed
Just a bit of love is what she really needs
She is covered in scars now but no one knows
They would be able to see her pain if they were to look into her eyes
But no one gives her a second thought
She is always left abandoned.
Her dreams, her hopes for a better tomorrow
They all got tossed away and now she is left with only sorrow
She had another bad day
There is no more hope left that she will ever be okay
She is in denial, she is in way too deep
She has lost her mind and she can't sleep
Tossing and turning, panicking, shes out of breath
She would give anything for the one thing she wants - death
But she will keep on living her own life
As long as she doesnt have to give up her knife
She will go on and face all that she has to
Although she is living a lie and wishing that her life was through
