The sun is shining brightly,

i can feel the warmth of it on my skin,

I open my eyes and see you there,

greeting me with a gentle mourning kiss,

I kiss you back and hug you tightly,

vowing to never let you go,

You still have a hard time believing me,

all because of your past,

but in time you will see that i am not going anywhere,

because you were made for me,

i just hope that i can make you happy,

as happy as you make me,

i'll never take you for granted,

i'll always let you in,

i'll always include you, my one true friend,

you'll be my endless shadow,

following me everywhere i go,

because i'll only go where you'll be too,
