I've given up on love
It is dead to me
It has lost all value;
All meaning
Betrayed and used one too many times
Wanting to run away and flee my own self
I hate letting myself get into this situation
I lost all hope in the joy love brings
I forgot how it feels when my heart sings
Another lie,
Another lonely cry,
All my trust is broken
Was this just a decietful act of lust
You had my heart and my trust
but carelessly, you threw it in the dust
