I look to the stars
and wish you were here
The love was so magical
We called it ours
But you chose to run the other way
Far away from the hope of a better tomorrow
A little better with less sorrow
Now I walk around apathetic and empty
Fading away into the distant days
Depression has come
and it has come to stay
Feeling so weak
Can barely take a step
Seems Like I cannot speak
The words get lost somewhere within
Is this all a hallucination
Are you really gone
I look to the stars
and realize that you are never coming back
