These words you say,

they sting my heart,

because of all your yelling,

I am falling apart,

tears well up behind my eyes,

but i do not let them fall,

i can't let you see my tears,

I can't let you see my fears,

It would be weakness in your eyes,

you never knew my feelings,

how I felt worthless,

like a mistake,

You didn't know that i wondered why i bothered to try,

never did you know I just wanted to die,

You never knew the truth,

Never did you care for my happiness,

you were oblivious to all the lies,

I tried to show you so many times,

but you just shut me out,

So now I see no point,

Just would hear more yelling,

So I just close my eyes and try to forget,

knowing in the end i may be hit with regret
