Your words were deadly weapons

Killing me from within

Shooting your arrows deep down to my core

As I bled, I cried out for more

You were destroying me all along

How could I be so wrong

I was so naive and blind

Never believing you to be the deceiving kind

How could you betray my trust

Using your words against me

You stole my heart and soul,

Crushing them in your hand,

Letting the shattered pieces fall in the dust
