The smile has left my face

I feel so out of place

Ever since our last embrace

Nothing has been the same

All I feel is pain

A never ending rain

Remembering the constant shame

What happened to our happy future

The dreams of a better tomorrow

Now we live a life of constant sorrow

What is that all about

Stuck inside a cage

I want to shout

Filled full of firey rage

Reading over and over again the same page
