I pray to the lord to keep you near me

because I am the one who needs you now

You are the one I have been searching for eternity

and if I was meant to survive without you, I am not sure how



I pray the lord will not send you to a far away land

because my my side I need you to forever stand

I never knew I would need someone this much

Evne though we have not been able to touch



I pray to the lord to keep you safe until I can be there

because not only do I love you, I so deeply care

I can picture you in my future, spending with you the rest of my life

You being my husband, me being your wife



I pray to the lord that you will never leave

That you will stand by my side and then I will always believe

I know our love is strong enough that it will never end

Just because you started out as my best friend



I pray to the lord that you will never die

because then I would die inside

I am scrared because I so deeply need you

and if you were to go, I would be broken in two
