This is where I restart

Go back to square one

and start from scratch



This is where I give back my heart

Put it in the hands of God

and wait to find love when the time is right



This is where I stop living the way I am

Where I have to wait until later to start my plans

They will never get started if I live that foolish way



This is where I stop letting all their words get to me

I will get back to being who I want to be

and there will be no one strong enough to block my way



Sure somedays I will be down

and I will feel lonely

but I will keep pushin through, I will make it



This is where I give up the vice

and only see and live through the good

but I have the strength to do this, even if I never thought I would



This is where I restart

Start all over from scratch

I will pause for the moments that I want to remember;
