Everything is lost under the blood-stained masquerade
Cannot look in the eyes of all my failures, grief and shame
It is easier to detach from feeling anything in this game
Pretend that the truth just does not exist, that the pain is not real
Lie when you say you would never want to be numb, when it is the only thing you ever feel
You do not want to be lonely, so why do you push everyone away
The closer you get, the quicker you choose to stray
Time is quickly running out and you are running towards the door
Did you ever think you would be dying on the floor
When lonliness is the only thing you keep finding more
You wonder what in the world you are living for
Why would you ever do this to yourself, hurt yourself on the outside to free the pain within
You will never deserve love because of your sin
Hide all the lies behind your charade
Never look past your blood-stained masquerade
