Let this bottle take me far

from all my memories

Let it drown out every beat of pain

That I have ever felt

That is the song I want to hear,

All my tears no longer existing

Swallow the thirst quenching liquid

That erases all the hurt

In the distance I can smell your scent

The one you always used to wear

and I can hear your voice still, I swear

I cannot be sober with you gone

Because that is something I cannot deal with

Even though it is reality

Let this bottle bring you back to me

I will hold onto you so tightly

and never let go

I will never regret you or our love

I need this drink to make it alright
