We once had it all,

The moon, the stars

The whole nine yards,

But one day we chose to give it up,

And let it all fall through the cracks



We once had everything

The sun, the clouds

The whole darn sky

But we decided to let it all go

And watch it drown in the ocean



We once had the world

The sunrise, The sunset

We held the sun in our hands

But one day we chose to go astray

And all good fell to the bottom of the earth
