Failing to notice how things have changed
With all the distance betweeen us
It is hard to know if our love is real
We become just like strangers
Protecting inside all that we feel
Continuing to hide behind the lies
Forcing to hide tears behind smiles, that is our disguise
Everything we become is a charade
Hiding behind a glass masquerade
We do not like to admit it
But still to everything we submit
Selling bodies, refusing to sale souls
Trying to make sense of our goals
Will we ever shine through the pain
Or will our lives fall apart in disdain
Can we find love to feel alive again
Or will we be held back forever because of our sin
